Materials: one 8 ft 2x6, 3/8" dowels, wood glue, stain (I used Varathane wood ager), wipe-on polyurethane, rubber cutting board feet.

Tools used: mitre saw (with a stop block), table saw, planer, bandsaw or jigsaw, router with 1/8" round-over bit, drill with 3/8" bit, speed square, mallet, long clamps. A jointer is optional.
