Materials: two 8 ft 2x4s, 1/4" dowels, wood glue, adhesive silicone, 1 1/4" brad nails, black paint, stain (wood ager).
Tools used: table saw, mitre saw (with a stop block), drill with 1/4" bit, brad nailer, clamps, square, sander.
